What information is gathered and how it is used by help4IT?

The kind of information we collect from our visitors depends on which part of the site you are visiting. Those areas are as follows:

Optional registration

Several areas of the help4IT website offer visitors the chance to submit personal details.To be placed on the newsletter distribution list for example.

If you do not want other subscribers to help4IT's mailing lists and/or forums to have access to your email address, do not subscribe to these services.

Subscribers should only use these services for authorised purposes, and should under no circumstances divulge the email addresses of other subscribers to unconnected third parties. Members' areas

Some parts of the help4IT website are only available to registered members. The criteria for registering and the use made of this information will be provided within these areas of the site.

Usage tracking

help4IT tracks user traffic and usage patterns throughout the site, but this information is not correlated with data about individual users. help4IT does, however, break down statistics to analyse the domain name and browser type of visitors to the site. This information is used to ensure that the help4IT website and its content is meeting the needs and the interests of the majority of visitors.

Feedback from the site is also solicited by voluntary completion of feedback forms and by enquiries submitted to the help4IThelp4IT uses any information given voluntarily to develop the site and enhance the visitors' experience when using the site.
